KUALA LUMPUR - Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) today announced the repricing of the Touareg R-Line, making the flagship SUV more appealing to Malaysian customers. The recommended retail price for the locally assembled Touareg R-Line is now at RM382,690 excluding VAP.

The adjustment comes in response to positive developments in Volkswagen's local operations and a range of favourable market dynamics, allowing the savings to be passed on to customers.

The Touareg R-Line is known as a leader for its cutting-edge technology and advanced driver assistance safety features, commanding design and remarkable performance capabilities. It is powered by a 3.0 litre turbocharged V6 engine, producing 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque.

This SUV redefines lighting technology with the IQ LIGHT HD MATRIX headlights, one of the best lighting systems in the world - a highly intelligent lighting system of more than 38,000 interactive micro-LEDs illuminates the road precisely.

The Touareg R-Line is available with the Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP) at an additional cost of RM17,300. With VAP, owners will be supported with comprehensive 5-year service maintenance, 5-year manufacturer warranty and 5-year roadside assistance.
